COCHI by Marvin

Feast of
Filipino
Flavors.

A warm, editorial digital identity built around celebration, hospitality, the cochinillo ritual and the real imagery supplied for this pitch.

A whole cochinillo presented over a table of food
01

Brand read

COCHI is strongest when polished hospitality still feels generous, familiar and alive.

Observed identity

White and dark neutral foundations, a high-contrast serif wordmark, warm wood, roast tones, gold accents, abundant food photography, guests at the table and a recurring “Feast of Filipino Flavors” message.

Proposed digital execution

Warm ivory pages, charcoal typography, aged gold, roast red, editorial serif headlines, real table moments and flexible layouts that can move between recognition, menu, group dining and story.

02

Color system

Warm neutrals keep the site refined. Roast, gold and leaf accents come from the food, interiors and celebration context rather than from generic “premium” styling.

Typography

Filipino flavors.
Made for the table.

Cormorant Garamond carries the editorial and celebratory voice. It feels close to COCHI’s observed serif identity without pretending to replace the official wordmark.

The site uses a typographic pitch lockup only. Production should use the official client-supplied COCHI vector logo.

04

Photography: abundance with people in it.

Food is essential, but COCHI should not become a plate-only catalogue. Celebration and hospitality are equally important brand assets.

Image rules

Do

  • Prioritize full-table abundance and serving moments.
  • Show people enjoying the meal, not only posed portraits.
  • Keep original color and warm natural restaurant light.
  • Use portrait crops as editorial panels on desktop and natural full-width imagery on mobile.
  • Use recognition imagery in dedicated recognition/editorial modules.

Don’t

  • Do not generate food, diners, interiors or “better” versions of the cochinillo.
  • Do not overuse gold until the site looks ceremonial or hotel-like.
  • Do not turn Bib Gourmand into the entire brand story.
  • Do not use Instagram sidebars, buttons or comment UI in clean photography.
  • Do not crop away the human interaction that makes a celebration image work.
06

Recognition

Bib Gourmand is proof. The feast is the reason to book.

Use text treatment near the first viewport and reserve the supplied Michelin celebration imagery for a recognition or journal section. Never imply the recognition belongs to another restaurant or to the broader portfolio.

Digital behavior

Clear enough for planning. Warm enough to feel like an invitation.
